His arrival represents another important milestone in the firm’s strategy of continuously expanding its international advisory capabilities by bringing together experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts with proven execution skills.
Markus joins BlackSwan Capital with an exceptionally diverse professional background spanning capital markets, investor relations, international business development, strategic communications and media leadership.
His career began at the Vienna Stock Exchange, where he served as Vice President IPO & Issuer Services, advising companies on initial public offerings, issuer relations and capital market communication. He subsequently gained valuable international transaction experience in investor relations and IPO preparation before establishing himself as one of the best-connected media executives in the German-speaking golf industry.
For more than two decades, Markus has held senior editorial and leadership positions, including Deputy Editor-in-Chief of GOLF TIME, one of the leading golf magazines in the German-speaking market. Throughout his career, he has built an extensive international network among high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), entrepreneurs, investors, premium brands, luxury hospitality owners, hotel operators and senior executives.
