A Career Across Politics, Media and International Institutions
Dr. Weiss has operated for many years at the intersection of politics, media and international diplomacy.
Her roles include:
- Candidate for the Office of President of Croatia
- Foreign and security policy advisor in two presidential cabinets in different countries
- Investigative reporter for the BBC
- Journalist with the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN)
Her work in investigative journalism focused on complex geopolitical developments across Europe and the Balkans.

- Campaign leadership for two Croatian parliamentary election campaigns
- Spokesperson for long-time Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandić
- Head of the Information Office of the City of Zagreb
These roles required strategic communication, political leadership and international engagement.

Dr. Weiss also brings extensive experience in international communications and brand strategy.
She has worked as PR manager for international brands, including:

- Amethyst
Her background across media, public affairs and global communications adds another important perspective to the BlackSwan platform.
Cultural and Academic Projects
Dr. Weiss has also contributed to unique international cultural initiatives.
Among them is a project conducted together with the Dutch Royal Treasury and UNESCO, financed by author Dan Brown.
The initiative focused on the digitisation of rare books and monographs at the Ritman Library and Museum in Amsterdam, helping preserve important intellectual and historical works for future generations.
